Why You Simply MUST Be Self-Sufficient In Order to Survive & Thrive in Internet Marketing.

Before we jump into talking about traffic generation much further, we need to discuss basic equipment needs. In keeping with our subject of managing your own mailing list, you need at a bare minimum to have an auto-responder account. Quite simply, an auto-responder automates routine email communication with your list.
Now there are plenty of free internet advertising marketing software companies out there that will provide you with a free auto-responder account, but as you probably guessed, all free internet marketing software is not created equal. Most free software comes with a provision that you must allow the provider to "piggy back" the company sales message onto your emails, or perhaps a co-registration ad for someone that is already a paying customer. But, if you're just getting started, and the budget is tight, then free automated response marketing software is the way to go. We'd like to make a recommendation at this point: get an auto-responder that allows for expansion of functionality which you will need as your list grows.
COMMON TASKS AN AUTO-RESPONDER DOES FOR YOU
When someone makes a purchase from you, your auto-responder can be set up beforehand to send to them an email containing a link to a download page so that they can get what they purchased immediately. Without that functionality, you would have to respond to each request manually...when you have the time. When someone makes a purchase online, they don't usually like to wait for it. Such is the nature of digital delivery of information that it can be done immediately. And why should your customer have to wait...they've already paid for it, and you don't want to keep them waiting either, understand? Good, let's go on.
When someone submits a question, your auto-responder can be set up to send a message that says, "We appreciate your inquiry. Please know that we are working diligently and will reply to your request soon. Thank you, Admin...etc." Can you see the absolute need for this type of immediate communication? Most people will likely never see anyone from your company face to face, or even talk on the phone with you. Trust, service, they're all the name of the game in any industry, but especially in one where there is so little, if any, face to face transaction.
Now I've just barely scratched the surface with what I've said so far, but I don't want to completely wear you out at this point. I've hope I've said enough for you to realize the need to have this piece of software, if you ever expect to be independent and earn the kind of money so many of the "gurus" claim. They're earning it this way, and this is what you are going to have to do. If you're not willing to put in the kind of work if takes to get a newsletter of your own up and running, then you might just want to reconsider whether internet marketing is something you really want to pursue. You have only to ask yourself the question about whether being a rank and file affiliate has paid off for you or not. If not, then you need to be self-sufficient in order to really survive and thrive in your own online business.
